Leatherby Libraries, located on the main ChapmanUniversity
campus in Orange, California,
provides BrandmanUniversity
students, staff, and faculty access to books, videos, DVDs, CDs, and print
journal articles within the Library’s physical collection. Additionally, BrandmanUniversity
library users may remotely access electronic books, full-text articles, and
more through the Library’s online databases. In instances when the Library does
not own a particular book or article, Brandman library users may request these
items via Interlibrary Loan.
This guide serves as a basic how-to for conducting your library research and navigating Leatherby Libraries. The tabs above link to tutorials on finding books, articles, and journals, borrowing from the Library, Interlibrary Loan, avoiding plagiarism, and evaluating websites.
Since the majority of BrandmanUniversity
students are not able to use the Library in person, we have created a borrowing
system to accommodate distant patrons. Items housed within the Library or
requested via Interlibrary Loan are delivered to currently enrolled or
currently employed BrandmanUniversity patrons at no
extra charge. Please link to the "How to Borrow Items" and "Interlibrary Loan" tabs above for more information
about these services.
You can start your search
for library materials at the Leatherby Libraries homepage, www.chapman.edu/library.
